November 2017 - The second floor of InVision’s Corporate Office has been completed, and they would like to invite you to their Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Open House! On November 16th at 12 p.m., the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber of Commerce will be officially welcoming InVision to the Wexford business community with a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony, and directly afterward you will be invited in to check out their newly purchased office building from 12:30-2:30 p.m. InVision is expecting Pennsylvania Senator Randy Vulakovich, members of the media, local business leaders, InVision donors and vendors, as well as staff members and people they support! October 2017 - 
InVision was represented by over 30 employees at the annual PAR Solutions Conference on October 23-25, 2017! The conference boasted speakers such as PA Attorney General Josh Shapiro (pictured below with InVision CEO Ruth Siegfried, left, and PAR President Shirley Walker, right), ODP Deputy Secretary Nancy Thaler, Motivational Speaker Victoria LaBalme, and so many more! Three InVision employees even presented our Emerging Leaders Training Program to a room full of 130+ people! And did we mention our very own Jonathan C., a person we support, won the Self-Advocate Employee of the Year Award for the Western PA region!? September 2017 -
We were very excited to hold our First Annual InVision Fall Festvial: Hi Ho Silver! on September 23, 2017! This one-day fall festival was nearly 100% handicap-accessible! We had wheelchair-accessible hayrides, food trucks, festival games for kids, a mechanical bull, a DJ, a Disney Vacation Raffle, and Saddle Up Country Band! It was a huge success because of the over 400 attendees, 30+ volunteers, 20+ sponsors, and 20+ vendors! August 2017 -
Our newsletter relaunched! I will come out on a monthly basis. This month was the first month for our new newsletter dubbed: The InVisionary! It will have news for employees, people we support, the general public - it will have it all! The articles will range from stories of the people we support to messages from our CEO to current events at InVision. July 2017 -
The construction of the second floor of our Corporate Office Building is complete, and it will be usable for the very first time on Wednesday, July 12, 2017! The second floor was designed to house our Human Resources Department, our main reception area, and our newest incorporated subsidiary - InVision Integrated Behavioral Health! There are also conference and training rooms on this floor that will be used for various meetings and trainings. See the amazing progress that was made in the video below!

June 2017 -
We love providing training to our employees as things are ever changing in our field! This particular group of outstanding employees just completed our second Emerging Leaders training program. Thank you to all who took the training and to the trainers as well!

June 2017 - 
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Boughamer to the position of Director, Property and Technology Services effective June 7, 2017. Having been with us for over 10 years, Gary has an excellent understanding of InVision’s philosophical approach and how to help others understand and live it regardless of the situation. His strong leadership skills, project management skills, and abilities as a change agent, along with his tenure, knowledge, passion, and commitment to the organization, make him an invaluable member of InVision’s leadership team.

We are also equally as pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Wassil to the position of Director of Finance effective June 1, 2017. Mike has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial sector. As a CPA, he most recently served as a Consulting Partner with a regional CPA firm where he would work with case management and administrative units of human service offices around Allegheny County. Mike is a graduate of Robert Morris University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Administration and Accounting as well as his MBA. Welcome to the team, Mike!

May 2017 -
Our 15th Annual InVision Night at the Ballgame took place on May 16th when the Pittsburgh Pirates took on the Washington Nationals. We lost the game, but our entire group of over 130 people had a fantastic time! Part of our group was able to watch batting practice from the field before the game too!

May 2017 - We participated in our first Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community on May 13th and it was an absolute blast! We raised an outstanding total of $6,705, and we were able to keep 100% for our Community Connections Events program! Thanks to everyone who donated, walked, or did both!

April 2017 - During the first week of April we looked back on the most memorable and defining moments in our first 25 years as an organization. We made it through a lot and have provided supports to hundreds of people, so please enjoy our history below. March 2017 -
Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellecutal Disability published a wonderful video describing the difficulties of being a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in this economy. The I/DD services industry hasn't received a rate increase in the past ten years, thus, service providers and DSPs are struggling to provide the appropriate services. February 2017 -
We are excited to announce that the buildout of the second floor of our Corporate Office in Wexford, PA, is over half-way complete! It is starting to really take shape, and we are very pleased to be able to share this with you! Enjoy!

January 2017We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Cader to the position of Director, Clinical Operations with InVision Customized Services effective January 18, 2017. Nancy has an excellent understanding of InVision’s philosophical approach and how to help others understand and live it regardless of the situation. Her tenure, knowledge, passion, and commitment to the organization have made her an invaluable member of the InVision Customized Services leadership team. 


December 2016 - Big things are happening at InVision! The Corporate Office is currently getting the second floor of our newly purchased building completely redone, and check it out - we just had our new sign installed along Perry Highway! Look for it and give us a honk if you're passing by!

Novemeber 2016 - Conversations That Matter (CTM) is a video training service that we subscribe to in order to receive the industry's top video content available. Each month they release a new video and this month's is titled "The Nuerology of Lonliness: Surprising Discoveries About How our Brians Respond to Rejection" presented by David Pitonyak. If you are an employee of InVision, you will have to visit and login with your InVision email address and password to view this and other CTM videos.  

October 2016 - We officially became the proud owner of our Corporate Office building at 12450 Perry Highway in Wexford! We had a great team working on this for more than a year, including executive team members, many InVision staff members, and our boards of directors. Thanks to everyone who made it happen, as this particular acquisition will create $1,000,000 in equity through 2022! See full press release here!

September 2016 -
 PA Governor, Tom Wolf, officially declared the week of the 11th-17th to be Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week! All week long we, along with other providers across the state and the country, used the hashtags #DSPWeek and #WeAreWorthIt because we love our DSPs!


August 2016 -
Our corporate office in Wexford, PA, had the first of two exterior signs installed this month. The one pictured below is located at our only parking lot entrance on Swinderman Road. The larger one that will be placed along Perry Highway is slated for installation sometime next month!

April 2016 - We would like to announce the appointment of Janice Frank to the position of Director, Human Resources effective April 18, 2016.  In this capacity, Janice will have responsibility for developing and implementing human resources strategy that is aligned with and in support of the company's core values, mission, and vision. Janice will oversee all aspects of the human resources department for InVision and its family of companies.


April 2016 - Both our Eastern and Corporate Office employees wore blue to support Autism Awareness! April is all about Autism Awareness with World Autism Awareness Day falling on April 2nd and it being Autism Awareness Month all month long.


March 2016 - (Right) Support National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! Support Side by Side Developmental Disabilities 2016 by using the hashtag ‪#‎SideBySideDD16 all month long on social media.

Pictured below is a plaque he recieved from the ARC for the number of hours he volunteered. February 2016 - We would like to recognize the leadership award recipients from our Eastern and Corporate Office State of the Vision events. Congratulations to Marcella Vanriper and Randi Denault, recipients of the Dr. Caroyln Hoffman Leadership Award, Helene Smith and Erin Kern, recipients of the John Pfab Rookie of the Year Leadership Award, Albert Robinson and Andrea DeFilippo, recipients of the Pursuit of Excellence Leadership Award, and Vicky McMinn and Will Schrader, recipients of the Ruth E. Siegfried "Shaping Our Future" Leadership Award.

January 2016 - Kim Love has been named chief operating officer and Joe Witucki has been named chief administrative officer in a strategic update to our Executive Team. Prior to these promotions, Love had served as chief program officer and Witucki as chief HR and strategy officer for six years.

September 2015 - September 13-19 is Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week. This week presents a tremendous opportunity to advocate to policymakers for our shared priorities, especially as they relate to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). 

April 2015 - The #WeAreWorthIt campaign begins in the Capitol Building in Harrisburg. Members of PAR (Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability) are sharing photos and stories of the people we support in a beautiful display in the Capitol Rotunda. People are stopping, viewing and reading, and legislators are seeing the faces of those who are affected by the decisions made in Harrisburg.

March 2014 - InVision's Ruth E. Siegfried, founder and president/CEO, and Kim Love, chief program officer, are pleased to announce that Nancy Cader and Dustin Pierce have been selected as recipients for the first ever Laura Zibrat Kurutz Communication Mentors' Scholarships for the Networks for Training and Development 2014 Communication Mentors' Course.  Nancy, clinical manager for InVision's Western Region, and Dustin, program supervisor, were selected from a very find group of candidates.  The scholarship was founded to honor Laura Zibrat Kurutz, long-time InVision training and referral manager who passed away in 2013, as well as to recognize Laura's dedication as a communication mentor and a passionate advocate for helping others find their voice.  We are confident that Nancy and Dustin will excel in the course, represent InVision well, and honor Laura's memory.

July 2012 - We are pleased to announce that Nancy Cader, a program manager at InVision Human Services, has been selected into the Behavioral Health Fellowship Program through Staunton Farm Foundation and Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. Congratulations Nancy!
