“Happiness isn’t found unless you take risks to get it.” – Holly Wolk
In September of 2023, InVision welcomed Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO),
Holly Wolk, to our leadership team. As the CHRO of InVision, Holly puts her best self forward to make decisions that are beneficial to InVision, the people we support, and our team members.
Throughout her time with InVision thus far, Holly has tackled a variety of projects head-on as she works with the leadership team, the HR team, and individuals across the organization to build talent development programs, employee engagement, and create a more inclusive environment within our organization.
A Change in Pace
Prior to InVision, Holly spent most of her career working in higher education—mentioning the shift to human services has been a different yet rewarding experience. Transitioning into a new role in a new industry can be challenging, but where others see challenges, Holly sees opportunities and room for growth. Upon her start with InVision, Holly has taken the time and care needed to understand the dynamics of the people we serve and our team members, as well as learning the ins-and-outs of human services. Along with this positive outlook, Holly has had many great mentors throughout her career who have pushed her to focus on her strengths and really lean into who she is as a professional.
Over the past few months, Holly has jumped right into her job duties and larger projects within her role. Along with working toward a more inclusive environment, Holly and the
leadership team have been working to understand and define our organizational culture—from a leadership lens, looking at how to best engage InVision staff in a way they want to be engaged to promote happiness and productivity. This includes implementing our updated
Guiding Principles, which were announced by InVision’s CEO, Kim Love, shortly before Holly’s arrival.
When asked about her favorite part of working with InVision, Holly’s response was the people that she works with and for.
“The direct team I work with, HR, is incredible,” Holly shared. “But even the leadership team and those outside of the HR—I love how cohesive everyone is and that we can have fun at work while also being serious.”
Holly added that the depth of commitment our direct support professionals have in their roles surprised her most about InVision—noting how motivated and caring they are to form such special bonds with the people we support.
“I think InVision is a great place to work,” Holly stated. “There is always a lot of work to do, and we are lucky to have team members that display true genuineness, kindness, and work ethic. I love InVision, it’s my favorite job ever. I always have a smile on my face, and I feel very blessed to be here. I’m excited for what’s coming in the future.”
Holly After Hours
Outside of the office, Holly is a mother of two to her son Jonas and daughter Addyson. Originally from Pittsburgh, Holly moved back to the area from Rochester, New York in 2021, residing in Mars with her family and their pet dog and bunny. Holly is a basketball coach to her daughter’s school team, captain of the local Drop Shot Divas team in the summer, and is also on the Board of Robotics at her son’s school.
Welcome, Holly! InVision is grateful to have you here and we look forward to all your future accomplishments as a team member of InVision!
